By becoming a member of the James River Basin Partnership, and being a part of our water quality team, you are taking action to protect and improve our precious water resources.

Throughout the years, James River Basin Partnership has worked to accomplish the improvement of water quality. We were able to hold membership meetings and produce our newsletter to inform and educate the public. We helped to secure funds to increase phosphorous removal at major sewage treatment plants. We are coordinating efforts by many area groups interested in water quality to improve efficiency and public awareness. Thanks to donations, we can continue our efforts in “working to improve the water quality in our springs, streams, rivers, and lakes.”
